How to Play

Hi! I'm Genín, your domino coach. I'll help you learn the strategies of partnership dominoes and improve your game. Let's play!

About the Game

7 Fichas simulates 4-player partnership dominoes (Cuban/Puerto Rican style). You and your partner (across the table) play against two opponents. First team to 100 points wins the match.

How to Play

  1. New Game - Click to start a new match. The player with the double-six leads.
  2. Play a tile - Click a tile in your hand to play it. If it can only connect one way, it plays automatically. If it can connect to either end, you'll choose which end.
  3. Pass - If you can't play, the Pass button enables. Click it to pass your turn.

Scoring

  • Domino - A player plays their last tile. Their team scores the total pips in opponents' hands.
  • Blocked game - No one can play. The team with fewer pips wins the difference.
  • Match - First team to 100 points wins.

Features

  • AI Difficulty - In Settings (⚙), set each AI player to Beginner, Experienced, or Master.
  • Stats & Badges - Tap the trophy icon to see lifetime stats and your earned achievements. Badges unlock as you hit milestones.
  • Quiz Me - Test your ability to predict what tiles other players hold based on their plays and passes.
  • Show who played - Toggle to see color overlays (cyan/red/purple/yellow) on each chain tile showing who played it.
  • Match Debrief - After the match ends, review your plays and get feedback on optimal choices.
  • Play Style Analysis - In the debrief, use your Claude API key to get personalized analysis of your playing style.

Strategy Tips

  • Track passes - When someone passes, they lack both open-end values. Remember this!
  • Support your partner - Notice what suits your partner plays and try to keep those open.
  • Manage doubles - Play doubles when you have "cover" (other tiles in that suit).
  • Count tiles - There are 7 tiles per suit. Track what's been played.
